Devner-area lTCC members will celebrate their 19th anniversary on Thursday, July 24, starting at 6 p.m. (please note that this is the fourth Thursday of the month). Once again, Joan Madrid has invited us to celebrate at her lovely home, 7500 East Dartmouth Ave., #33, in Denver. Joan will furnish the meat course and members are asked to bring side dishes and salads. As usual, we will have a "kitty" so each of us can give what we will for cost of meat and other expenses. Since Bonnie may not be able to get back from the East Coast, David has said he will bring cake. Please bring your own drinks, wine, etc. If you can attend, please call Joan at (303) 752-4173 to RSVP.

The Colorado area celebrated its 17th anniversary on July 20, 2006, at the home of Joan Madrid, according to Area Coordinator Major Bonnie O'Leary. It was potluck dinner, with Madrid furnishing the meat and O'Leary providing the cake. It was also BYOL. See photo below of those who attended. Miriam Burris showed slides of a trip to Europe which she took 50 years ago. Everyone enjoyed the evening, O'Leary reports, as they did at the May 18 dinner at Tuscany Valley at which Barbara Jackson showed slides of Vietnam and Laos.
